'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End' news: Art book now for pre-order

"The Art of Uncharted 4 A Thief's End" PlayStation Gear/Naughty Dog

Naughty Dog has teamed up with Dark Horse Books for the release of an art book on all things "Uncharted 4" justifiably called "The Art of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."

The book features 176 pages of never-before-seen concept art and early designs for the game with annotations by the folks that put together Nathan Drake's final adventure.

"The Art of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is deemed an essential companion for the upcoming title and is, beyond doubt, going to take players to an exciting journey on how the game was created.

The "Uncharted 4" art book comes in a standard edition, which is priced at $40, and a limited edition, which is packaged with an assortment of "Uncharted" goodies.

Apart from the book, gamers who buy the limited edition will also get to take home a mini lithograph, a copy of "The Art of Uncharted Trilogy" and a cool-looking slip case.

There will only be 1500 limited edition copies of "The Art of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" to go around. To secure one, head to the PlayStation Gear store right now and pre-order the book.

The standard version is available in both PlayStation Gear and Dark Horse. Both editions will start shipping on May 10, the same day the "Uncharted 4" game will be released.

Meanwhile, Naughty Dog has announced that "Uncharted 4" has gone gold two months shy of its release date. This means that it is all set to hit the stores.

Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann shared a picture of a physical copy of the game, expressing his bittersweet sentiments towards completing the title, which was delayed twice.

"Uncharted 4" marks the end of the well-loved action-adventure series and ultimately, Nathan Drake's dangerous and action-packed escapades. Game director Bruce Straley promises the game, being the closing installment, won't disappoint.
