Ultimate Event at Alton Towers 2005 to Bring People to God

After ten years and huge success, being sold out with all 12,000 tickets going last year, and reports of young people committing their lives to God from all over the UK, preparations are underway for this year's 'Ultimate Event at Alton Towers'.

The event will combine some of the best Christian music artists and will be held on 14th May.

According to the Billy Ritchie, event organiser, everything is being prepared with great diligence and things are being improved by listening to the punters, to create the best possible show.

The sound system is currently being designed, to ensure clarity wherever you choose to stand and for those at the back, two large video screens will be provided, so that those gathered will not miss anything.

A massive 40x40 foot stage will be created, and huge video screens will be used to show hosting stars such as Urban Ramps Demo Team, Supervision and Tommy Baker. This year also boasts three American stars – the Newsboys, the Rock n Roll Worship Circus and for the first time visiting UK, Superchick.

Superchick has recently released their best-produced album 'Beauty from Pain' which reflects the story of their life for the last year or so and they will come fresh from their showcase in Rocketown. Apart of the big stars, there is also more on the event program.

Supervision – a fresh new talent will get an airing in the form of the Ultimate Showcase, where they as unsigned winners of the Battle of the Bands will get the chance to shine on the stage. In addition the evangelist with the AOG movement – Mark Ritchie will be performing at the event.
