Last year, gamers heard of a new upcoming game developed by Remedy, the studio behind "Max Payne," which is for now codenamed "P7." There is not much news that can be known except for a general description of the game. However, a release date or window may have recently been revealed.

Remedy, this week, has published a financial statement for 2017 in which they first mentioned that for the "P7" project they will partner with 505 Games. The latter, who is also behind "Payday 2," will publish the title. As for the game itself, they simply said the production has "progressed according to our plans."

That said, it also stated that the game will get a 2019 release date. Considering this and with it presumably now being in its main production stage, it would not be surprising to hear news about it within the year or maybe at most late next year. Before then, fans will be expecting at least even the title of the new game in the next few months.

According to IGN, the new game is described to be "a cinematic third-person action game set in a new Remedy-created universe. [Project P7] will create game mechanics and storytelling techniques [that will] offer gamers long-lasting experiences." If anything, fans will definitely have high expectations for the new game given Remedy's success with their "Max Payne" games.

However, this is not the only upcoming game that was stated to be in production at their studios. They also listed a third and obviously unannounced project that is set to come out within this year, 2018. Unfortunately, nothing else was revealed about it.

It seems that Remedy is on a roll with their releases. Alongside these two new unnamed projects, they are also working on a story mode for their upcoming first-person shooter game "Crossfire 2."
