Surely, "Monster Hunter: World" is one of the most popular games starting this year, 2018. However, older gamers would definitely get throwbacks of the first popular N64 monster-hunting games "Turok." Aside from the developer, Nightdive Studios, announcing that it has decided to give the game a remaster on the PC, it has also mentioned an Xbox One version.

Both "Turok" games, "Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" and "Turok 2: Seeds of Evil," all the way from two decades ago will be made playable on the Xbox One. By the time they are out, they will cost $19.99 each. Interestingly, Nightdive Studios has actually been working on the remastered game since 2015.

With around three years into its development, players hope that the developers have made the game worth playing again aside from its visual enhancements. Nightdive Studios' developers themselves are known for making remasters so this should at least ease up fans' worries about the game. This good news comes in perfect timing just after they sadly announced that the remaster for "System Shock" will be on a hiatus.

"Turok: Dinosaur Hunter" is a video game adaption of the comics "Turok." The game pits the player as Turok up against prehistoric dinosaurs with the use of a wide range of weapons from bows to machine guns. It was then made for the Nintendo 64 and Windows.

On the other hand, "Turok 2: Seeds of Evil" was also made for the same console and for Windows but given its success, it was also ported to the Game Boy Color. The gameplay was quite similar again to dinosaurs. Both games already even had their own multiplayer modes so friends could play together.

This is not the first-time "Turok" got a remaster. Nightdive Studios also released a PC remaster for both of the games back in 2015. Since it is only three years later, it is interesting to see what new additions or changes have been made. The "Turok" remasters will be out on March 2, 2018.
