Paramount Pictures is eager to tap Nickelodeon star Isabela Moner for the female lead role in "Transformers 5," according to a source who is "familiar with the project" that spoke to The Wrap.

The "100 Things to Do Before High School" lead star is set to play the role of a "street-smart tomboy" named Izabella. Moner's character in "Transformers 5" is an orphan and has a small Transformer for a friend (her only friend, actually).

Her life changes as she knows it when she crosses paths with inventor-mechanic Cade Yeager played by Mark Wahlberg. "Transformers 5" appears to be the first huge silver screen gig of the young star.
