After releasing the King and the Warlord DLC on Oct. 20, Creative Assembly will reportedly provide "Total War: Warhammer" players with a free Legendary Lord character called Grombrindal the White Dwarf ahead of its official release in 2017.
According to a press release posted on Steam, Grombrindal the White Dwarf is a hero that came from the time of legends. There are a lot of rumors surrounding his real identity. One of the rumors claimed that he is the incarnation of Snorri Longbeard, while other claimed that he used to be betrothed to the goddess named Valaya. However, none of the rumors were confirmed.
Acquiring Grombrindal the White Dwarf in the game will unlock several unique quests as he progresses in each battle. Every time the character levels up, he will be rewarded with his legendary war gear such as the Rune Helm of Zhufbar, the Armour of Glimril Scales, the Rune Cloak of Valaya, as well as the Rune Axe of Grimnir. These gear will help him succeed on the battlefield.
There are three ways to get an exclusive Steam key to be able to unlock Grombrindal for free in the "Total War: Warhammer." It includes purchasing the White Dwarf November 2016 issue 3 magazine from the Games Workshop website, the Games Workshop and Warhammer stores, as well as independent retailers. Players can also approach a staff in any Games Workshop and Warhammer stores to ask them directly for the free Grombrindal Steam key card from now until Jan. But if they could not get the key card using the two options, they simply have to wait until the game developer released the character for free sometime in 2017. This will no longer require having an exclusive Steam key.
