Ubisoft gives fans a first look at its upcoming open-world action tactical shooter "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands" in a trailer, which provides a preview of the sprawling locales waiting to be explored.

A group of four dedicated black-ops members travelled miles and braved the harshest of conditions in various locations ranging from arid regions and swampy marshlands to to arctic mountains and woodlands.

The "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" trailer also shows that players will pass through villages and construction sites, where they are all strangers to everyone who lives there.

With various sites set to be surveyed, transportation will be a big deal in "Ghost Recon: Wildlands." This is why there will be vehicles to ride for all types of places—motorbikes, boats, jeeps and even helicopters.

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will come in various editions. The first one is the Deluxe Edition priced at $70, which includes a copy of the game and the digital Deluxe Pack that comes with:

  • Original soundtrack
  • Huntsman rifle and motorbike
  • three emblems
  • three weapon camos
  • three character customization items
  • XP booster

Priced at $100, the "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" Gold Edition includes everything in the Deluxe Edition along with the Season Pass, which includes two DLCs and exclusive content such as extra equipment packs, vehicle and weapons.

There's also a Collector's Edition Standard at $120, which comes with a Santa Muerte figurine and collectible posters designed by Ken Taylor. To upgrade this Collector's Edition to Deluxe, players will need to shell out $130 and $160 for the Gold."

Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will also be offered in Calavera Collector's Case, which includes:

  • All content in Gold Edition
  • Headset replica of Ghost's Audio Headset (compatible with PS4, Xbox One and PC)
  • Santa Blanca Cartel Skull
  • Physical game map
  • Original soundtrack
  • Bolivian carrying pouch
  • 3 location postcards

Those who pre-order "Ghost: Recon Wildlands" will also get a bonus mission called The Peruvian Connection, which takes place in Bolivia. Players will be tasked to "break the alliance" shared by the Santa Blanca and the Peruvian Drug Cartels.

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" brings gamers at the heart of the booming Santa Blanca drug cartel that transformed Bolivia into a narco-state. Gamers will play the role of a member of the elite US Special Forces team called Ghosts, who are tasked to put an end to the expansion of the drug empire.

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will be out next year.
