After unveiling the newest extended gameplay trailer for "Titanfall 2" during the game studio's E3 2016 presentation, EA Games also confirmed that all the map packs and modes will be released for free.

Speaking during the EA Play event in London, game developer Respawn Entertainment's head of development David Wrightman mentioned that all upcoming content for "Titanfall 2" will be released with no added charge.

"We'll definitely be supporting Titanfall 2 post-launch, and I can confirm all maps and modes we deliver post-launch will be free. We'll be talking more about post-launch plans closer to release so stay tuned for more info," Wrightman said at the panel, as reported by PlayStation Lifestyle.

The game developer also revealed some of the changes coming for the successor to the Xbox One-exclusive "Titanfall" game, which was released in 2014.

According to the game developer, "Titanfall 2" will now come out on the PlayStation 4 and PC. It will also have a single-player mode as well.

Respawn is also holding a beta release to conduct a multiplayer technical test for the game.

"There is a certain class of bugs that only show themselves once you have massive numbers of people playing together, and we hate those kind of bugs because they can ruin a game launch. So, let's try to find those bugs as early as possible," a "Titanfall" blog post said.

This means that the success of the beta testing will also determine the success of the upcoming game when it finally reaches the market.

Also, the game developer announced that the sequel of the multi-awarded first-person shooter game will come out with several improvements that will reportedly "elevate the shooter genre." This can be seen in the new gameplay trailer featured during the EA event.

"Titanfall 2" is scheduled for release on Oct. 28 this year.
