After the heartbreaking revelation in the previous episode, fans will be treated to a touching new installment of "This Is Us" next week.

Fans of the new NBC comedy-drama found out that Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) is already dead. But the new installment of the series will show how the Pearson patriarch took care of his children when they were little.

Based on the promo trailer for the episode titled "Career Days," Jack will visit his children's school for their career day. However, it seems like he will have a startling discovery about his adopted son, Randall.

The promo trailer showed that Jack was informed about the possibility that Randall could be a gifted child, yet he deliberately fails all his exams to conceal his special gift. Jack will ask him about it, but the young Randall will confess that he was only doing that because he does not want to prove that he is different from most kids.

The upcoming episode will also feature a new milestone for the present-day Kate (Chrissy Metz) since she landed a new job. Initially, Kate will feel that she found her ideal job. But the trailer revealed that her the daughter of her boss does not seem to like her.

The trailer also revealed that Olivia (Janet Montgomery) is finally warming up to Kevin (Justin Hartley), and the two seemed to be heading towards a romantic relationship.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode had been posted by CarterMatt, which reads: "Kate interviews for a new job that seems just about perfect, although it comes with a catch. Randall doubts his career choice and wonders if he followed the right path. Kevin and Olivia's relationship moves in a new direction. Rebecca and Jack are conflicted on what to do when Randall tests as a gifted child."
