Negan's victim will be revealed in the first episode of 'The Walking Dead' season 7. AMC

Fans of "The Walking Dead" are still left hanging at the end of season 6, where the ruthless Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bludgeoned one of the beloved characters to death. But they could finally find out the identity of Negan's victim as the series begins to shoot for season 7 on May 2.

Comic Book revealed that the AMC's high-rating zombie drama will start filming all over the Old Griffin Rd and Brown Drive in Bridges Drive, which are near Hampton, GA. However, there is no assurance that the first day of shooting will immediately center on the cliffhanger from the previous season.

Meanwhile, speculations claim that Negan's victim will be Steven Yeun's character Glenn. According to reports, Yeun has been silently casted for the upcoming Netflix Original film titled "Okja," alongside a star-studded cast composed of Jake Gyllenhaal, Tilda Swinton, and Paul Dano.

According to reports, the filming schedule for "Okja" will coincide with the schedule of "The Walking Dead" season 7. Yeun is also reportedly working on another movie called "Mayhem," where he will portray the role of the main character named Derek Cho. The said film will reportedly come out sometime this year. It could mean that Glenn will be the one who gets killed in season 6 just like what happened in Robert Kirkman's comic book series where the show was loosely based from.

Other speculations claim that Norman Reedus' character Daryl Dixon could be the one who got the fatal beating from Negan's beloved bat named Lucile, since the actor will have a new show titled "Ride With Norman Reedus" coming up.

On the other hand, AMC is reportedly looking for an actor who will portray the role of Augustus for season 7. According to the character description, Augustus is based from the fan-favorite character named Ezekiel from the comics. He is reportedly "an illustrious, commanding, comforting, all-knowing, African-American middle-aged former zoo-keeper."

"The Walking Dead" season 7 is slated to premiere sometime in October.
