'The Station' update: Sci-fi mystery adventure game is now available on Steam

"The Station," an independent science-fiction (sci-fi) mystery adventure game, is now available for purchase on Steam.

According to the official website of the game, "The Station" poses the question with which the whole game will revolve around: "How would one react if a sentient alien civilization is discovered, challenging everything one knows about biology, chemistry, physics, religion and answering questions man has asked throughout history?" Moreover, "But what if this sentient alien civilization was discovered in a state of war?" 

According to the Steam page of "The Station," an undetectable space station with a three-person crew will be sent to investigate this alien civilization. Players take on the role of one of the three crews, a reconnaissance specialist who was sent onboard to study and research the alien culture to find a medium towards a peaceful relationship. The players will be isolated from the remaining crew and will be taken to uncover what the mystery surrounding the alien civilization. Players will learn upon their discovery that their view of surveillance, imperialism and the moral law will be challenged.

The gameplay of "The Station" features the following — an augmented reality world, intuitive problem solving and an assembled living story. The augmented reality world features a range of personal to professional augmented reality logs that will allow players to explore what was taking place on the space station. The game will promote an intuitive problem solving which will encourage players to rely on their abilities and intuitions to identify and solve problems. "The Station" also highlights a living story whose details will slowly be assembled and unraveled as the game progresses.

"The Station" is developed and published by the game studio of the same name as the game, The Station. It retails at $14.99.
