'The Sims 4' Dine Out expansion: after Dine Out DLC, gamers will get kids-themed pack

"The Sims 4" Dine Out expansion pack will be released next week and Electronic Arts and Maxis are making the necessary preparations for the DLC's debut.

Just a couple of days back, a "The Sims" livestream took place via Twitch, marking the official return of the game's weekly livestream events as announced last month.

During the Twitch broadcast, "The Sims 4" Dine Out DLC was previewed and gameplay details were revealed. Some of the takeaways include an available selection of uniforms for the restaurant employees.

It was also revealed that even though Sims restaurant owners are not around, the place can still stay up and running presumably for more profit gain and for the business to stay relevant.

Based on what was shown on the livestream, YouTuber and "The Sims" enthusiast James Turner teases that "The Sims 4" Dine Out expansion pack looks "soooo good" and that the "restaurant management system looks fantastic."

The Dine Out DLC gives Sims the chance to visit and run a restaurant. They can try "experimental food," take photos of the food and hang them on the wall of their homes and restaurants. If they loved the experimental food so much, the Sims can cook it themselves at home with a Chef Station to be made available for purchase via "The Sims 4" Dine Out expansion pack. In running a restaurant, "The Sims 4" players can hire and train other Sims as well as "compensate customers for bad service, customize the menu," as EA and Maxis puts it. Players can build and design their own restaurants or purchase a pre-made one instead. There are new items to check out in "The Sims 4" Dine Out DLC such as warming lamps and aquariums. There will be tons of decorations to choose from as well. "The Sims 4" Dine Out DLC will be available on June 7. A kids-themed pack will be released shortly after, according to "The Sims" producer Graham Nardone.
