Three years after Russell Armstrong from the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reality show committed suicide, his father is now claiming that his son was murdered.

In a report obtained by TMZ, Louie and the entire Armstrong family hired the services of a private investigator to have a deeper look into the suicide case of the late reality star because they believe that he was killed. The patriarch is also asking the L.A. County Coroner's office to provide them with a copy of Russell's autopsy pictures so that his hired forensic expert can analyze them better.

Yet, TMZ also noted that Louie is not getting any assistance from the county coroner's office, or even from his former daughter-in-law, Russell's widow, Taylor.

According to the entertainment website, "Armstrong seems to think Taylor would have better luck obtaining the photos since she was Russell's next of kin at the time of his death. In the docs, he says she refuses to assist his efforts."

Taylor Armstrong and her camp have not yet released any statements regarding the issue.

Russell and Taylor's marriage was filled with controversy when they were still both on the show. Some of the cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills talked about the so-called money problems of the Armstrongs as well as the claims that there was spousal abuse.

Taylor decided to file for divorce and charged her husband for domestic violence back in 2011. That seemed to be a big blow for Russell, who decided to take his own life after the unfortunate events. Taylor and his landlord found Russell's lifeless body on Aug. 15, 2011.

The said domestic abuse was vehemently denied by the entire Armstrong family, but Taylor continued to stand by her earlier statement and even claimed that she had to undergo a titanium mesh implant procedure in her right eye, which was reportedly damaged because of Russell's spousal abuse.

Taylor is currently married to John Bluher.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is preparing for another season, and the cast and crew are presently undergoing production.
