There are only a few days left before The CW's supernatural drama series "The Originals" returns for its fifth and final season. There has been a lot going on in the lives of the Mikaelsons since the conclusion of season 4 as the family of Original vampires were forced to live far away from each other. Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Guilles), Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) were warned to not see each other ever again, but it looks like one of the siblings will not take this warning seriously.
The first look at "The Originals" season 5 premiere was reported by TV Guide, and it reveals that two of the Mikaelson siblings will meet again after several years. However, the family was forbidden to get close to one another as the bodies of Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol were chosen as the new vessel of an all-powerful and malevolent entity known as The Hollow. The moment that the four are reunited, The Hollow is likely to re-emerge and continue her quest to dominate all lives.
In spite of the warnings given by his older sister Freya (Riley Voelkel) and Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood), Klaus may have finally made his mind up to meet one of his siblings. In the first episode of "The Originals" season 5, Klaus will visit Elijah at a piano bar in France.
Per the latest spoilers, the two brothers' reunion will not amount to anything signficant, especially that Elijah has chosen to erase all of his memories in order to forget his trauma of being a murderous vampire. With this, Klaus cannot expect to have a meaningful conversation with Elijah and reminisce about the past, as the latter only knows him as a stranger passing by the piano bar.
While Klaus knows that meeting his sibling would cause trouble, the many years of isolation may have driven him desperate to be reunited with his loved ones. Aside from his siblings, Klaus has not yet seen his only daughter, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) in a long time, but he needs to keep his distance from her as the part of The Hollow's soul inside his body might hurt Hope.
"The Originals" season 5 will premiere this Friday, April 20 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
