A new threat will be unmasked in the upcoming episode of "The Originals" season 4.

Titled "Bag of Cobras," this week's episode will reveal more details about the death of Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) parents. According to the official synopsis, Hayley believes that her visit to Mary may have helped her uncover details about her parents' passing. This will send her to Freya (Riley Voelkel), who could be the one holding the key to unlock her memories from that tragic day.

Elsewhere, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his friends learn that The Hollow has sought the assistance of a mysterious servant. Determined to uncover the new threat's identity, he and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) host an elaborate party to lure the servant out. Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood), on the other hand, somewhat feels that he is responsible for The Hollow's resurgence. He helps the Mikaelsons out by using his magic to root out the newest threat in town.

When Freya was introduced in the show, she was known as the Mikaelson sibling that fans were not sure if they could trust. Over the years, she has proven herself as a loyal sibling and the protector of her family. Despite her role as the witch of the clan, Freya will reportedly play a major role in the hunt for this season's villain, The Hollow.

Voelkel recently caught up with Entertainment Weekly and she teased where Freya's mind is currently at. "She's all business and no time for fun at this point," the actress said, adding, "She just wants to make sure everyone is back together. I think the goal is to get the family back together, including Hope and Hayley, and avoid what the Mikaelsons are always dealing with, but unfortunately that never lasts long."

Now that she's growing closer to someone outside of the family, Voelkel shared that fans can expect to know more about her personality in the coming episodes.

The fourth season of "The Originals" airs every Friday night at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
