Danger is lurking around in New Orleans as Esther's (Sonja Sohn) ruthless sister Dahlia returns in "The Originals" season 2. The Hollywood Reporter announced early this week that actress Claudia Black was tapped to portray the role of wicked witch Dahlia in the hit supernatural drama from The CW.

Based on the plot of the series, Esther asked Dahlia to put a fertility spell on her. The younger sister obliged, but not before Esther agreed to give her the first-born child of every generation. So when the Mikaelson matriarch gave birth to her first daughter Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel), Dahlia put her away.

This means that Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) daughter, Hope, is next in line to be taken away from the family.

An earlier interview with "The Originals" executive producer Michael Narducci talked about how Dahlia and Freya's relationship was since the wicked witch took Esther's daughter.

"If Freya is still alive, that must mean that Dahlia is still out there," the executive producer stated. "And what's the nature of their relationship? All of that is the stuff we want to play going forward."

Dahlia is set to appear in episode 16 of "The Originals" season 2.

Before that episode, Baby Hope's mother Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and her new husband Jackson (Nathan Parsons) will face another form of struggle in episode 15 titled "They All Asked for You."

In the previous episode, Hayley and Jackson had to marry each other through a mystical unification ritual so that Hayley's powers could be transferred to the pack. But after the wedding, Hayley confessed to Jackson that she also married him because she truly loves him.

In an extended promo video for the episode, Hayley and Jackson are seen awkwardly discussing about their set-up as a married couple. Although she already told him her true feelings for him, he is still unsure if they can actually consummate their marriage.

"The Originals" season 2 episode 15 airs March 9 on The CW.
