Prepare to feel Klaus's (Joseph Morgan) wrath in the second half of "The Originals" season 3.

During the midseason finale, Klaus finally declared his love to Cami (Leah Pipes) after a long time in a love-hate relationship. But their happy moments were short-lived because Klaus' ex-lover Aurora (guest star Rebecca Breeds) ended her life.

Klaus was naturally furious when he discovered that Cami was already lying lifeless beside him in his bed. This could prompt him to retaliate against the people who killed his girlfriend, including Aurora's accomplice Tristan (guest star Oliver Auckland).

In a previews interview with Variety, "The Originals" creator Julie Plec revealed that Klaus's anger could make him even more dangerous.

"Well, there's nothing more fun than a pissed off Klaus," Plec revealed. "In spite of the turn of events for him, he does get the bite of the vengeance bug. Once he finally gets his hands on Aurora, it's not going to be pretty."

Meanwhile, the upcoming midseason premiere of "The Originals" season 3 will also center on the Mikaelson's battle against Tristan after they discovered that he owns a very powerful weapon that could eliminate their family for good. This means that Klaus will be working with his siblings Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Freya (Riley Voelkel) to get rid of the threat. However, their plan will ignite a tense run-in with The Strix.

The complete official synopsis for "The Originals" season 3 episode 10 titled "A Ghost Along the Mississippi" reads:

"In the aftermath of a horrific plan that left Cami dead, Klaus declares war on Aurora and Tristan. Elsewhere, Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood), who has resumed his role as Regent to the New Orleans witches, is forced to use his magic against his will, while Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) find themselves pawns in Tristan's twisted game. Finally, after learning that Tristan is in possession of a powerful weapon that could take their family down once and for all, Klaus, Elijah and Freya enact a risky plan that leads to a tense showdown with The Strix."

"The Originals" season 3 returns on The CW on Jan. 29.
