Despite their obvious differences and never-ending feuding, the Mikaelsons will still stick with each other when one of them faces an adversary.
In the next episode of "The Originals" season 3 titled "Beautiful Mistake," Rebekah will return to New Orleans in a very complicated situation.
The synopsis for the episode reveals that the youngest Mikaelson will be the target of the newest evil plan of the ancient vampire organization called the Strix. Because of this, her brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and sister Freya (Riley Voelkel) will do everything they can to protect her.
According to Bustle, the Strix was actually the oldest vampire society that Elijah established in order to gather great minds to help save the world. However, Elijah decided to leave the Strix after he realized that the group that he formed became a group of spoiled, vicious killers who planned to rule the world. When Elijah left, the first vampire that he turned named Tristan de Martel (Oliver Ackland) took over the leadership of the Strix.
Does Elijah still have a power over the ancient society to stop them from hurting his sister?
At the moment, The CW has yet to reveal whether Rebekah will be portrayed by Claire Holt or Maisie Richardson-Sellars. According to series executive producer Michael Narducci in an interview with TVLine, the season will feature a storyline "that will have to resolve Rebekah in Maisie Richardson-Sellers' body and pick up with what's going on with the original body, as well." He also said that fans of the show will find out how the story will unveil soon.
Meanwhile, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will have their own dangerous encounter with the Strix, which could lead to a disturbing discovery that could affect the vampires in New Orleans.
The hands of another Mikaelson family member will be full in the upcoming episode. According to the synopsis, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will try to determine where the loyalty of Tristan's younger sister Aurora (Rebecca Breeds) lies by spending more time with her.
"The Original" season 3 episode 6 airs Thursday, Nov. 12, on The CW.
