In the next episode of "The Good Wife" season 7 titled "Judged," Alicia's misfortunes will take their toll on her. She continues to struggle with her new law firm that's already crumbling and Eli's five-year-old secret that changed the course of her life forever.
There's a new problem on the list, sad to say. This week's installment will see Alicia going up against Judge Schakowsky after she discovered that he wrongfully put her former bond court client behind bars.
"Are you out of your mind, Mrs. Florrick? Suing a sitting a judge?" Schakowsky asks a gritty Alicia in "The Good Wife" season 7 promo. To the fuming judge, Alicia may just be out of her mind and maybe she is, with everything that's going on.
Apart from this complicated battle in court, trouble in Alicia's personal life continues to brew. For one, Lucca, who she put up a new law firm with, is thinking about leaving her and accepting Cary's job offer in Lockhart, Agos, and Lee.
As seen in the previous "The Good Wife" season 7 episode, ever since Alicia decided to make an office out of her apartment, her neighbors have been complaining about her clients mistakenly going up to their digs in search of her law firm office.
Cary offered both Alicia and Lucca space in Lockhart, Agos, and Lee but it only took the former a split second to turn it down. Lucca, on the other hand, believes that Cary may actually be offering a good thing.
She decided to think it through and Alicia will know if she will lose Lucca too in this "The Good Wife" season 7 episode.
Meanwhile, the promo for the installment also sees Alicia and Jason somehow reuniting. The clip shows Alicia running towards her man on the elevator, where they eventually held each other close presumably before being separated once more.
The new "The Good Wife" season 7 episode will also see Diane deal with case involving a student editor of a college newspaper who is facing possible termination after publishing politically-charged articles.
"The Good Wife" season 7 episode 13 "Judged" airs Jan. 31 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
