Callie and Brandon's relationship suddenly took a nosedive when the courts granted her adoption into his family in "The Fosters" season 3.

In the latest promo for the episode titled "Minor Offenses," Brandon (David Lambert) is seen passionately kissing a new girl named Courtney (Denyse Tontz), who is working in a bar where he used to play.

Could this mean that Brandon has finally moved on from his failed relationship with Callie (Maia Mitchell), who is now his legally adopted sister?

In an interview with TVLine in January, Lambert revealed that his character will try to do as many things as he can to divert his attention away from Callie.

"He's got a senior project coming up, [for] which he decides to do a musical adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. There's a possible new love interest, actually, a character named Courtney that comes in to his life. He starts investing into her," the actor revealed. "Ultimately, they're just trying to move on as best as they can. But with that said, the show is definitely a catharsis with the whole forbidden love theme and everything that's included with that. So it goes back and forth."

Meanwhile, Mitchell revealed in the same interview that Callie could also possibly find another love interest in the upcoming episodes of "The Fosters" season 3, especially since AJ (Tom Williamson) has returned to the series. But the actress also revealed that Callie will have other things to focus on aside from her love life this season.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads:

"When Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) discover Callie wants to film an endorsement supporting a new foster care reform bill, they express concern, prompting Callie to seek out Rita (guest star Rosie O'Donnell) for support. Hoping to impress Mariana (Cierra Ramirez), Nick turns to Jesus (Noah Centineo) for advice on planning their first date. Meanwhile, Stef recovers from a medical procedure."
