Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) can use his super speed to run away from trouble, but trouble has always been able to follow him in the previous episode of "The Flash" season 4. In the upcoming episode 13, titled "True Colors," Barry will be forced to use the speed force to get him out of his current predicament, especially that his fellow prisoners are in danger of being auctioned off in the black market. The episode will also feature the return of actress Katee Sackhoff as Amunet Black, who is willing to shed some bucks for the auction.
In the recent episode 13 promo teaser shared by Screen Rant, Barry and his fellow meta humans inside the Iron Heights penitentiary are about to be auctioned as Warden Wolfe (Richard Brooks) appears to be doing this dirty work for a long time. The warden was able to witness Barry using his super speed while fighting off the other prisoners who were trying to bully him via surveillance cameras. Now knowing that the latest inmate in Heights and the Scarlet Speedster are one and the same person, Warden Wolfe will use this as an opportunity to earn cash by selling him to Amunet.
The latest trailer for "The Flash" season 4 episode 13 shows Barry trapped inside a special cage designed for metahumans, thus his speed force will be no use to help him escape. He will also have a brief reunion with the metahuman villains featured earlier in the show like Becky Sharpe/Hazard (Sugar Lynn). This time around, their fates are intertwined as they are going to end up in the hands of Amunet very soon, although Barry is ready to risk getting his identity exposed and use his super speed to break everyone out of prison.
While Barry and the other metahumans inside the penitentiary are looking for ways to escape, Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) has no idea of what is going on with his husband. Warden Wolfe has been feeding the families of prisoners with lies in order to protect his little auction inside the prison, but with Barry's efforts, there is a chance that his business with Amunet will be exposed.
"The Flash" season 4 episode 13 will air on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
