The promo for next week's episode of "The Flash" season 4 is already out, and the CW series' main hero once again finds himself in a dire situation inside the Iron Heights Penitentiary. It is rumored that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be forced to reveal his true identity as the Scarlet Speedster to save his fellow prisoners as the prison's warden plans to auction them to Amunet Black/The Blacksmith (Katee Sackhoff).
As if being framed for a crime he did not commit is not enough, Barry is seen on the verge of being sold off at a black market in the episode 13 promo of "The Flash" season 4. The upcoming episode is titled "True Colors," which suggests that one of the character's real identity will be exposed. It is easy to assume that Barry's alter-ego, the Flash, will be the one to be revealed, given that Warden Wolfe (Anthony Harrison) witnessed the latter using his super speed through the prison cameras. However, it could be the warden's true colors that will be revealed, given that he has lied to Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) regarding his husband's situation.
It appears that Warden Wolfe has long been in the business of auctioning off metahumans that ended up inside the Iron Heights Penitentiary. "The Flash" season 4 episode 13 teasers show Barry locked inside a special prison for metahumans, rendering his super speed skill useless. He will also get to meet the metahuman villains featured earlier in the show like Becky Sharpe/Hazard (Sugar Lynn).
As per the episode 13 promo, Barry will have no other choice but to risk getting his identity exposed to the rest of the prisoners and break out of prison using his super speed in order to save his fellow metahumans. It is also uncertain if Warden Wolfe will tell other people about what he learned from the surveillance camera. If he tells anyone that Barry Allen is indeed The Flash, this will put the lives of Barry's family and friends in danger.
"The Flash" season 4 episode 13 will air on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
