Another epic crossover episode between the two DC Comics-based TV shows on The CW will be aired in the next episode of "The Flash" season 2 airing Tuesday, Dec. 1.

In "The Flash" season 2 episode 8 titled "Legends of Today," Barry Allen/The Flash will asked Oliver Queen/Arrow (Stephen Amell) to help him in his attempt to hunt Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The first part of the crossover episode will bring Barry back to Star City to ask his friend Oliver to hide Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) while he embarks on a manhunt for Vandal Savage after the villain attacked her and Cisco (Carlos Valdes). However, Carter Hall/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) will suddenly appear in Star City to take Kendra away.

Meanwhile, fans of the DC Comics-themed series will also show that Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) wants to test a new serum on Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) to determine if it will work to make The Flash go faster. Wells is hoping that the new serum that he formulated could help The Flash successfully defeat Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd). But in this episode, Jay has no intentions of joining Wells in his experiment, since using the serum can pose a long-term adverse effect on his body.

Sears recently shared with the Entertainment Weekly that Jay is very reluctant to be a part of the serum testing. "Jay doesn't react very well to that. He doesn't want to be a part of Wells' schemes. There will be some life threatening moments in there and we have to use a combination of science and ingenuity and Wells's mysterious substance to get to a safe conclusion," the actor said.

This will be the second time for "The Flash" and "Arrow" to work together to stop the villains threatening Central City. The first one was featured in the eighth episode of "The Flash" season 1, where Barry and Oliver dealt with the metahuman named Roy Bivolo.

"The Flash" season 2 episode 8 airs Tuesday, Dec. 1, on The CW. The second part of the crossover will be featured in "Arrow" season 4 episode 8, airing Wednesday, Dec. 2.
