It seems like it's going to be a pretty intense week for "The Bold and the Beautiful" viewers.

The air is thick between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Rick (Jacob Young) as the two fight neck-and-neck to become the CEO of Forrester Creations, as well as for Caroline's (Linsey Godfrey) affection.

Spoilers for the long-running CBS soap mention that there is a strong possibility that Ridge and Caroline's professional relationship will evolve into something personal as the two spend more time with each other. Caroline's husband Rick and Ridge's fiancée Katie (Heather Tom) have started to be more wary about the real score between them.

Rick's suspicion grows stronger after catching his wife and Ridge in a very compromising position, making him more infuriated and determined to kick Ridge off from Forrester Creations. Armed with Katie and Caroline's confession about Ridge's design dilemma, Rick plans to go straight to Eric (John McCook) to expose Ridge's secret to his father. He also urges Ridge to resign, which makes Caroline mad.

In their confrontation, Caroline professes to Rick that she can work better with Ridge on her side, and that the two of them share a connection. In a video teaser for the Oct. 7 episode, Caroline tells Rick, "When we [she and Ridge] draw together I feel plugged in to something bigger than both of us, a creative energy that I have never felt before."

Meanwhile, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be deeply saddened after Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) leaves him for Milan. Yet there could be a spark of hope between him and Katie, after she confesses that she secretly hopes that he is not in love with her sister Brooke.

Fans of the 27-year CBS daytime show should look forward to Friday's episode, wherein the Forrester patriarch allegedly states an announcement that will definitely rock the entire Forrester Creations universe.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs from Mondays to Fridays at 1:30 in the afternoon.
