Are Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff already heading to splitsville?

The star of "The Bachelor" season 19 and his final rose winner are reportedly breaking off their engagement more than six months after he proposed to her, which fans saw in week 10 of the long-running dating reality show. Multiple reports claim that Soules and Bischoff already broke up several weeks ago but they continue to put up a united front until they can publicly announce their separation — that is, only after the premiere of "The Bachelorette" season 10 early this week.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Soules and Bischoff need to appear as a happy couple in public since they need to establish that they found true love in "The Bachelor." Breaking up before the premiere of "The Bachelorette 2015" will affect the show's ratings, reports claim.

Rumors also say that the relationship between the engaged couple became rocky after Bischoff accused Soules of hooking up with his "Dancing With the Stars" partner Witney Carson. Eagle-eyed fans also noted signs that the engagement is not real to begin with since the couple could not or would not discuss their plans for their upcoming wedding. Also, Bischoff chose to stay in her native Chicago to continue working as a fertility nurse instead of joining her fiancé in his farm in Iowa and in Los Angeles while he performed on the "DWTS" stage.

There are also speculations saying that the couple attempted to be sweet together publicly when Bischoff drove to Soule's family farm on May 13 to celebrate their sixth month together. However, reports claim that their union did not even last for an entire day since Soules had to travel back to L.A. to rehearse his number for the dance reality competition.

Still, Gossip Cop denies such rumors and claims that the breakup stories are a complete "nonsense." The website also states that Soules never cheated on his fiancée, and the two are still madly in love with each other.

If the break up reports turn out to be true, then the public should expect to hear the couple's announcement sometime soon.
