'The 100' season 3 episode 9 spoilers: Bellamy finds a way to rescue Kane but Octavia puts the blame on him in 'Stealing Fire'

"The 100" season 3 won't be back until the end of March but there are already details about what to expect in the next episode of the series, which is titled "Stealing Fire."

In this installment, Bellamy and the others hatch a plan to save Kane, who is now facing a death sentence by Pike, who wants to make an example out of him for anyone who goes against the chancellor.

Pike wants everyone to know that anyone who chooses to oppose them will meet a fate as brutal as that of Kane's. But before he can prove his point with Kane's dead body, Bellamy, Octavia and the others will figure out a way to save him in the next "The 100" season 3 episode.

However, this won't be an easy feat. In a promo for "The 100" season 3 episode, Octavia loses it as Bellamy pitched an idea how to rescue Kane. "You're the reason they need saving," she tells him.

In the recent "The 100" season 3 episodes, Bellamy has, for some reason, found sense in the words Pike has been feeding him, regarding protecting his leadership and the punishment for those who disobey.

Bellamy will start to think about the alliance he chose as Kane's life continues to be on the line and as Octavia reminds him more and more of how he helped Pike.

"He's torn. He's not a fool. He understands the extreme measures being taken, and he still believes in them at the moment, and is trusting Pike. But there will come a point, we hope, where that's no longer the case," executive producer Jason Rothenberg told TV Line.

He adds that Bellamy will soon realize that he is on the wrong path, although crises will arise before he will realize that. How long before Bellamy becomes conscious of Pike's true intentions?

Fans will soon learn when "The 100" season 3 episode 9 "Stealing Fire" airs March 31 on The CW.
