Did a recently leaked behind-the-scenes photo reveal the surprise cameo of the original April O'Neil in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2"?

ComingSoon reported early this week that actress Judith Hoag, who portrayed the character of April O'Neil in the 1990 version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," was spotted on the set of the upcoming sequel to the "TMNT" reboot.

The 46-year-old actress was first tapped to portray the feisty TV news reporter who became friends with Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello. Her role is now being portrayed by Megan Fox, but the two were seen side-by-side in one of the leaked images taken from the set. It is unclear, however, if Hoag will be in the new movie in a cameo role or if she will have a larger presence in the film's reboot.

Hoag refuses to divulge any information about the movie or confirm if she will indeed join the new cast, but she seems to be teasing her social media followers by posting about a pizza night in New York and a wardrobe fitting with "three out of four" sweet guys.

Aside from Fox, Will Arnett will also reprise his role as Vernon Fenwick while William FIchtner returns as Eric Sacks. They will be joined by "Arrow's" Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, and Brian Tee as the newest actor to portray Shredder. Tyler Perry will also appear as Baxter Stockman, and Laura Linney has been cast in a still undisclosed role.

Other cast members of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 2" include Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Johnny Knoxville, Danny Woodburn, and Tony Shalhoub. However, the network is still mum about their roles in the series.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is slated to be released on June 3, 2016.
