Lydia's life is in danger in the upcoming episode of "Teen Wolf" season 5.

The trailer for episode 15 titled "Amplification" shows how Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and the rest of the pack attempt to rescue Lydia (Holland Roden) from being held against her will at the Eichen House.

During the previous episode, Lydia finally finished her training with Meredith (Maya Eshet) to control her banshee powers. She then tried to escape from the mental institution but was later on recaptured.

Scott will do everything that he can to save Lydia. In another trailer for the episode, the alpha tells the rest of the pack that they must rescue her.

"If we don't do this, we lose Lydia," Scott says in the promo clip. "She's gonna die in there tonight, and she might take a lot of innocent people with her."

Yet it seems like Theo (Cody Christian) has other plans for Lydia, according to the official synopsis for the episode. But will Theo really save Lydia, or is he using her to get to Parrish (Ryan Kelley)?

While Lydia's life appears to be in danger, it does not mean that fans should prepare to see her die in the series just yet. According to series showrunner Jeff Davis, Lydia plays a very important part in the story for this season.

Davis recently told Entertainment Weekly that Lydia is a vital piece in this season's plot.

"At one point, one of the characters says something along the lines of, 'She might be the one who can save us all," the series showrunner said.

Davis added that getting Lydia out of the Eichen House requires more than one episode.

"Her finding her power is critical to the season," Davis teased. "That's why we decided to make episodes 15 and 16 a two-part episode around her, which is the breaking-Lydia-out-of-Eichen episode."

"Teen Wolf"season 5 episode 15 airs Tuesday, Feb. 2, on MTV.
