After all the troubles that rocked their relationship, "Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans and fiancé Nathan Griffith decided to give their love another try.
While doing the press tour in New York to promote the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2" with co-stars Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska, Evans confirmed that she and the father of her one-year-old son Kaiser are officially back together, but they have decided to take things slow.
"We are back together, we're just taking it very slow because we don't need to jump into it," the reality show star told Wetpaint. "We don't want to end up back where we were. So, we're just taking little baby steps."
The two were engaged in January this year during their vacation in St. Thomas, shortly after Jenelle gave birth to Kaiser. But they called it off in March when things got ugly between them.
Back in March, the couple were involved in a very public altercation and Griffith was arrested for domestic violence when she reportedly told the cops that he held her against a toilet and forced her to remove her engagement ring. The 23-year-old "Teen Mom 2" star was also charged with domestic violence after she allegedly attacked her 27-year-old fiancé last month, but Griffith decided to drop the case immediately.
During their time apart, Griffith allegedly moved on and started to date another woman, while Evans joined the social dating app Tinder.
"When we broke up for four months and even when I focused on me," Evans explained. "Yea, I did download Tinder and I had it for two months. I went on one date and it was for two hours — that's it. I had many other opportunities, but honestly, I kept feeling I was cheating on Nathan."
The couple seemed to have mended their relationship when they spent time together for Kaiser's first birthday, and Evans started wearing her ring since then.
"Teen Mom 2" season 6 will begin airing on Thursday, July 9, on MTV.
