'Teen Mom 2' update: Are the girls friends?

 Facebook

Despite shooting five seasons with each other, not all "Teen Mom 2" stars can stand being together all the time. Sources told Radar Online about the real status of the friendships within the set – or lack thereof.

According to some sources, mother of three Leah Messer does not talk with anyone from the show. The former cheerleader from West Virginia is currently going through a lot right now, but she does not reach out to her co-stars for help.

Sioux Falls native Chelsea Houska also keeps to herself and does not talk with her co-stars, according to several sources.

Yet not everyone is aloof in "Teen Mom 2." An insider claimed that at least a pair of young moms can call themselves friends.

"It seems like Jenelle and Kailyn are the only ones close now," the source stated.

It seems like Kailyn Lowry is the Miss Congeniality within the bunch.

According to a source, "She's friends with all of them, but just doesn't talk to everyone all the time."

But among the girls, it looks like Leah needs to be surrounded by friends during this trying time in her life, after her relationship with husband Jeremy Calvert took a nosedive. Recently, in her Facebook account, the teen mom removed all the photos where she was with Calvert, and changed her cover photo with just her and her three daughters Ali, Aleeah, and Adalynn without Calvert. Still, no matter how difficult her current situation is, Leah is still keeping to herself instead of reaching out to her co-stars for help or to get their advices.

"Jenelle has no idea why Leah hasn't talked to her about the situation, but Leah won't talk to any of her costars about it either. Leah doesn't talk to any of the other Teen Moms. Her costars aren't her main support system and never have been," a source shared to Radar Online.

Will the girls' friendship change before "Teen Mom 2" season 6 airs on July 9 on MTV?
