"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" finally came to PC via Steam on Oct. 27, and a Deluxe Edition with a handful of perks and extra content is available for purchase as well.

Some of the extra content available in the "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" Deluxe Edition are extra costumes (including a wedding dress), all the chapters from the Abyss of the Shrine Maiden story arc and the Lord of the Inferno downloadable content (DLC).

According to Gematsu, the Abyss of the Shrine Maiden story arc allows for more difficult gameplay, extra field content, the chance to reassign team roles, the addition of Evolve Sword skills, and brand-new items that include legendary armor, aura weapons and unique character-specific weapons

Meanwhile, the Lord of the Inferno DLC allows players to square off against the raid boss. This event will become available after players complete "Warriors of the Blue Sky."

Players will be happy to know that the latest addition to the game's franchise brings back a handful of familiar faces and beloved characters from the previous "Sword Art Online" games such as "Hollow Fragment" and "Origin" as well as the anime and the light novel itself.

Here is a synopsis PC release of the game from Gamasutra:

"Written in close collaboration with Reki Kawahara, creator of the popular light novel and anime series Sword Art Online, SWORD ART ONLINE: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition brings back beloved characters Asuna, Leafa, Silica, Lisbeth, and Sinon to join Kirito on his adventure through the new Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG), 'Sword Art: Origin.' Players will choose up to three characters to join their party as they explore the expansive world of Ainground, battling enemies and taking on quests from the mysterious AI, Premiere."

"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" was released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in November 2016.
