"Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet" based on the anime with the same name. As it was released just a few weeks ago, Bandai Namco has just recently revealed its first downloadable content (DLC) out of the three planned. This DLC, "Champion of Gunfire" has already been given a release date as well.

The first batch of DLC will add three new characters. These include Yamikaze, Dyne and Musketeer X. It will also add a new mode called Deathmatch Battle that will presumably have higher stakes for the match. There is an added story, more dungeons and thus enemies, and finally an added cosmetic options for characters.

The story will take place before the squadron of the player enters the SBC Flugel. That said, there will also be new quests that players can take. The new dungeons and enemies added are also for those who want a challenge as they are quite difficult.

The existing mode, Bullet of Bullets, which is originally playable while in Kirito Mode, will be available in other parts of the game. It can now be played to the Avatar after getting Champion of Gunfire DLC. Bullet of Bullets will also then be played offline as they will fight other random enemy encounters.

Alongside the news of the first DLC, the trailer for it also mentioned some details on the next two DLCs. "Creator of Moat Camp", as the second DLC, will add Clarence and Shirley as featured in "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online." Finally, the third DLC, "Driver Machines" will add Alice and Eugeo from the "Alicization" arc.

As for the "Champion of Gunfire" DLC, it will be out by sometime around April 2018. "Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet" has been out since Feb. 23, 2018 and is playable on the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and Windows PC.
