'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: Winchesters to investigate mysterious deaths of wrestlers

The second half of "Supernatural" season 11 is about to begin, which means that the Winchester brothers will have their hands full for another round of adventures.

Based on the latest promo trailer for thE long-running mystical police procedural drama, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) will deal with The Darkness separately. But future episodes will have the two will work once again in a single crime.

TV Line learned that the brothers will look into a case involving the professional wrestling world in the 15th episode of "Supernatural" season 11.

According to the report, the episode will bring several wrestlers in the mix, including a legendary wrestling star named Gunnar Lawless, a quick-tempered and ruthless up-and-coming wrestler named Shawn Harley, as well as longtime wrestling manager named Rio, who is grieving because of the untimely demise of some of her guys.

The Winchesters are called after a popular wrestling tour is smeared with controversy. They will investigate the untimely death of several wrestlers during the tour.

However, there is no word yet regarding the cast of the upcoming episode. It is also unclear if Dean and Sam will also fight against the possible villain on top of the ring during their investigation.

The report also revealed that the episode will start shooting early in January.

At the moment, the series is on a production hiatus for the holidays.

Meanwhile, the first episode of "Supernatural" season 11 after the winter break will see brothers' attempt to beat Amara/The Darkness (Emily Swallow) individually. Sam will face Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) inside a cage, while Dean is expected to assess if he will begin a relationship with The Darkness in the future episodes.

The second half of "Supernatural" season 11 begins on Wednesday, Jan. 20, on The CW.
