The next episode of "Supernatural" season 11 will see Sam realize that freedom does come at a price and a pretty big one at that in his case. When the show returns, Sam will find himself in a deal with a guy who is basically the most excellent at rigging this type of deals –- Lucifer.
In the upcoming episode titled "The Devil in the Details," Lucifer will offer Sam a way out of the cage in exchange for something that is presumably unreasonable or difficult to relinquish. Whatever it will be, it is sure to make Sam think hard about how the offer can have long lasting effects on his life.
Meanwhile, the midseason premiere of "Supernatural" season 11 will keep Dean and Castiel busy investigating the angel that almost killed Amara, who the former seemed to have fallen in love with.
The complications of Dean and Amara's romance will be certainly pose a great challenge to them knowing that the amount of power she has in her can easily bring the planet to destruction. Wherever this love affair goes, it will be great to check in on it upon the show's return.
Meanwhile, word on the street is that "Arrow" star Stephen Amell, who is a big fan of the long-running series and a good friend to protagonists Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, will guest-star in "Supernatural" season 11.
An episode from this season takes Sam and Dean to a wrestling tour gone wrong and during this bloody mayhem, the brothers will get to meet a group of characters, one of whom Amell will allegedly play, as per TV Series Finale.
The first one is called Gunnar Lawless, who TV Line describes as "a wrestling legend grappling with regrets." Then there's one called Shawn Harley, "a quick-tempered and ambitious rookie on the rise" and then add to the mix Rio, "a wrestling manager who is saddened to see so many of her guys meeting untimely ends."
Amell has appeared on WWE Summerslam to fight (and eventually defeat) wrestling superstar Stardust in a tag-team match. Whether or not the actor will appear in the show remains to a mystery.
