'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: Dean's 'Baby' highlighted in new episodes

Supernatural CW

Fall is still a few months away but fans and various entertainment websites cannot get enough of spoilers about the next season of "Supernatural." During the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con held early this month, it was revealed that Dean Winchester's favorite travel companion aside from his brother Sam will be the focus of an entire episode.

BuddyTV talked to actor Jared Padalecki during the Comic-Con, and he revealed some of the things to look forward to next season, including the episode called "Baby." According to the actor who portrays the role of Sam Winchester in the series, the fourth episode of the new season will be shot entirely with the 1967 Chevrolet Impala owned by Sam's older brother Dean (Jensen Ackles).

"We're going to see how Baby sees an episode of Supernatural," Padalecki said.

Ackles said that the episode can be compared to Tim Hardy's latest movie called "Locke."

"I never would have imagined that sitting 90 minutes in a car would have been as interesting as it was," he said. "So it that's the formula that we have to follow, I'm very nervous. We might have to call Tom Hardy and have him come over and guest-star on that one."

The Winchesters' strong dynamics as brothers and tag team will be highlighted in the said episode.

Meanwhile, Dean and Sam will have to face a new threat called the Darkness in the upcoming season. This new threat was released when the Mark of Cain was successfully expelled from Dean in season 10. Since the Darkness was already spreading evil during the pre-biblical era, the brothers need to fight side-by-side in order to win against it. This will also focus more on the combined strength of both brothers.

"One of things I like about [the Season 11 storyline] is it's going back to the original format of having both brothers unaffected, meaning not drinking demon blood, not with the Mark of Cain on their arm. [It's] just Sam and Dean as Sam and Dean, fighting a common target," Ackles said.

"Supernatural" season 11 premieres Oct. 7 on The CW.
