It looks like Meghan Markle is already preparing to be a full-time royal. The "Suits" actress is reportedly leaving the legal drama ahead of her engagement to Prince Harry.

The 36-year-old actress, who famously portrayed feisty paralegal Rachel Zane on the popular US drama, is apparently filming her final scenes for the show's return next month. However, that might be her last time, as she already informed her TV bosses that she will not be returning for the "Suits" season 8 next year.

The report comes from The Daily Star, citing a source who said Markle is aware that she cannot act and be a princess at the same time. Still, she is said to be happy to make this career sacrifice.

"She really enjoys her charity work with Unicef and will broaden out her charity commitments when she becomes a full-time royal," the insider claimed.

Markle will wrap up production next month before she and Prince Harry announce their engagement in December. According to reports, the pair has actually been engaged in August during the brunette beauty's 36th birthday trip in Botswana. There is also news that the couple is already looking for their first home in the Cotswolds.

The palace and the couple have not addressed these rumors yet. However, this is not the first major change in Markle's lifestyle since dating the royal. Earlier this year, the actress also shut down her website of three years, The Tig. It was not specified why the site had to stop publishing, but many saw it as a sign she was ready to embark on the next chapter of her life.

Cosmopolitan recalled Kate Middleton also had to give up her work as an accessories buyer for retailer Jigsaw and as a project manager for her family's event planning business prior to marrying Prince William. This could also be the case for Markle.

If the actress indeed marries Prince Harry, they will likely become a Duke and Duchess, just like William and Kate. Current predictions say they might become the Duke and Duchess of Sussex or the Duke and Duchess of Buckingham, both of which are currently vacant.
