The "special" surprise developer Capcom has been hyping for "Street Fighter 5" turns out to be the official inclusion of Ibuki in the fighting game's roster via DLC.

The "Street Fighter 5" DLC trailer shows the abilities of the teenage ninja and a couple of new movements such as a quick forward dash and a parachute-type effect that allows her to go airborne for considerable number of seconds.

Ibuki was also shown taking advantage of her agility and speed in both avoiding and inflicting damage on her opponent. The "Street Fighter 5" trailer also teased she will benefit much from her handy explosives.

Ibuki has been around for a while in the "Street Fighter" cosmos, having appeared first in "Street Fighter 3." The game that came before "Street Fighter 5" also included the ninja in the roster.

It remains to be seen when the "Street Fighter 5" DLC containing Ibuki will be released, although reports have it that she will be available as early as tomorrow, May 31.

While Ibuki was expected to be released as a "Street Fighter 5" DLC character along with five other fighters as announced last year, media outlets expected that Balrog the Boxer will be the next one to be released and not Ibuki.

Either way, Balrog should arrive in the near future and should be followed by the final two characters in the line-up: Juri and Urien. There are no specific release dates announced for the availability of these fighters yet.

"Street Fighter 5" fans won't need to shell out some bucks to get Ibuki and the other DLC characters, so long as they have the determination to earn them through gameplay.

For those who want to have them playable right away, they can always go for the shortcut and purchase the "Street Fighter 5" season pass.

Apart from the Ibuki DLC for "Street Fighter 5" and the arrival of three more characters after that, players can also look forward to a free story mode set to be added to the game this June.
