Steven and his friends will embark on a new mission to search for a corrupted gem when a new episode of "Steven Universe" airs in Cartoon Netwook on Monday.

A leaked video shows that Steven, Connie, and Pearl will do everything that they can in order to rescue a corrupted gem. This will be Connie's first mission, which is why Steven will try to take as many souvenir photos as he can using his phone's camera for her parents.

The trailer shows that Connie has already mastered her sword-fighting skills, according to Pearl. In turn, Connie vows that she will do the best that she can in order to help Steven succeed in all his missions.

"I promise, I won't let you down ma'am!" Connie states.

Connie also reveals, while the three of them are walking on the snowy hill to search for the corrupted gem in the wilderness, that she got everything that they will need on her backpack. Meanwhile, Steven brags that he brought board games in case the group gets bored. But while the three of them are discussing their plans, a roar is heard on the horizon.

According to a series of leaked images that was posted on YouTube, the source of the loud roar could have come from Jasper and a broken gem shard that turned the tall and muscular Homeworld Gem into a pink and blue-colored beast.

Could Steven, Connie, and Pearl control Jasper before it becomes too late?

The 17th episode of "Steven Universe" season 3 will premiere on Monday, Aug. 1.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly reported that "Orange Is the New Black" star Uzo Aduba will lend her voice in an upcoming episode of "Steven Universe." She will portray the role of Bismuth in a special episode toward the end of August. Her character is described as "the purple, rainbow-haired gem, who fought alongside her fellow Crystal Gems in the battle to save Earth over 5,000 years ago."

More details about Bismuth are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
