"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is one film that definitely got the fanbase divided for many different reasons. While there are issues that some fans have that may not be resolved quickly, one of them — the lack of an actual Finn-versus-Phasma fight — may actually have been a deleted scene.

Gwendoline Christie's character, Captain Phasma, is a character for which many fans have longed to see an actual storyline that revolves around her even if she is not the main focus in the movies. The fans got that in the "The Force Awakens" featuring Finn (John Boyega) as the traitor to the First Order and most importantly, his captain, Phasma.

The two get to face each other in the last few minutes of the "The Last Jedi" but was quite underwhelming as many fans thought. However, the revealed deleted scene shows much of a story for Captain Phasma revealing a big secret.

Phasma originally accuses Finn of being a traitor to the First Order. Finn argues back — an argument that Phasma could not deny. According to Finn, Phasma would have chosen her own life than the goals of the First Order. This was seen in how she allowed the First Order's greatest weapon to be destroyed by the Resistance.

Phasma, after trying to shove it off and showing the other stormtrooper that it was not true, kills all of them seeing that they had started to doubt. Now it looks like Captain Phasma is the traitor. The scene ends as she pushes back Finn, and the latter, as seen in the movie, shoots her.

This scene would even match with that in the comic book. For those who want to watch the scene, they can do so on the official Star Wars YouTube.
