The cast and crew of "Star Wars: Episode VIII" are getting ready to fly to Dubrovnik, Croatia from London to shoot some scenes for the highly anticipated sequel from March 9 to 16. With principal photography well underway, the movie is on the lookout for extras.

A casting call reveals that the film is looking to hire Icelandic, Scandinavian and Nordic men and women. Those who get selected will be filming in April, as noted in the document. The film seems to be searching for background performers, photo doubles and stand-ins.

It remains to be seen what planet or location Dubrovnik will be transformed into for "Star Wars: Episode VIII." It does not look like it will be something fans have seen before so media outlets believe that the region will take the form of a never-before-seen planet. The crew has started building sets there.

Meanwhile, JJ Abrams hinted at the possibility of a romance between Poe and Finn. When "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was in theaters, fans noticed that the male characters could be sharing something more than friendship, which could hopefully be explored in "Star Wars: Episode VIII."

Oscar Isaac, who plays the heroic pilot, hinted that his character may be involved in some romance, a "very subtle" one at that. "You have to watch it a few times to see the little hints but, there was. At least, I was playing romance," Isaac told Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The theory of the Poe-Finn romance was further supported by director Abrams's latest remark about the characters in the new "Star Wars" films. "When I talk about inclusivity, it's not excluding gay characters. It's about inclusivity, so of course," the filmmaker said via People.

"To me the fun of 'Star Wars' is exploring the possibilities, so it seems insanely narrow-minded to say that there wouldn't be a homosexual character in that world," Abrams went on to say. Whether he was pertaining to a Poe and Isaac remains unclear.

"Star Wars: Episode VIII" hits theaters Dec. 15, 2017.
