Carrie Fisher might have dropped a major update about "Star Wars: Episode 8."

The organizers of New York Comic-Con revealed that Fisher changed her appearance schedule in the upcoming entertainment and pop culture expo in October through an Instagram post.

According to the post, the actress who is known for portraying the role of Princess Leia in the original "Star Wars" trilogy will only appear on the expo's Sunday schedule. She initially planned to attend the event for four days, but she will reportedly have to cut her schedule short due to "Star Wars" production.

While the post did not mention which particular "Star Wars" film will Fisher work on, it can be assumed that the post was pertaining to "Star Wars: Episode 8" since there is no other movie under the franchise that is being filmed at the moment, even if the principal production officially ended in July.

Slash Film also noticed that Chloe Bruce, the stuntwoman who stands in for actress Daisy Ridley in the action-packed scenes in "Star Wars: Episode 7" and "Star Wars: Episode 8," seemed to have confirmed that the upcoming installment of the epic sci-fi saga is currently doing some reshoots.

The stuntwoman revealed that she had to fly to Belfast and London in August, then go to Croatia in the first week of September. Those were some of the main locations of "Star Wars: Episode 8," which could only mean that film director Rian Johnson is conducting reshoots for the upcoming film.

Meanwhile, Lupita Nyong'o finally confirmed that she is done shooting her scenes for "Star Wars: Episode 8." This debunked the rumors that her character Maz Kanata will not appear in the upcoming movie. "I shot my scenes, it's coming out — you never really know, when you shoot your scenes in a movie, which ones are gonna make it and all that. So, it's always, 'Fingers crossed!'" the actress stated in an interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The actress then went on to say, "But as far as I know, I'm in it."

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is slated to be released on Dec. 15, 2017.
