Majority of the iconic heroes from the galaxy far, far away can be seen in action in "Star Wars: Battlefront." Chewbacca is noticeably absent, but that won't be the case soon.

The highly anticipated Death Star downloadable content or DLC is bringing everyone's favorite Wookie to the fold, finally immersing him to the Electronic Arts DICE's beloved action shooter video game.

Fans can get a first a look at Han Solo's trusty sidekick and pilot in the image above from EA. Other than this image, Chewbacca has not been seen anywhere in the teaser for the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star DLC.

This is understandable since the short clip was not meant to show much. With the expansion pack still a month away, a full-on trailer for the Death Star DLC is not expected to come out until weeks before the launch.

EA recognizes the longing of fans to see Chewbacca in "Star Wars: Battlefront." Touching on the subject during the announcement of the Death Star DLC, the company wrote on the official blog for the game:

"Chewie has been one of the most requested heroes and we are excited to see him team up alongside current heroes including his partner, Han Solo."

However, EA DICE has teased that with Chewie on board, gamers will be able to see more of his iconic tandem with Han Solo in "Star Wars: Battlefront."

Apart from Chewbacca, Bossk, a bounty hunter feared by many in the galaxy, will also join the fun via the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star DLC.

The new content allows gamers to experience super-charged action and battles both inside and around the moon-sized space station. It will also allow gamers to recreate the time Luke Skywalker blew up the whole thing.

EA DICE promises to share more details about the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Death Star DLC soon. The DLC itself is said to be released this September.
