Samsung Galaxy S6: Pre-register on Sprint now

The excitement for the upcoming next-generation flagship smartphone from Samsung started to build up over the past couple of days as T-Mobile and AT&T started to launch their pre-registration campaign for the Galaxy S6. This time, Sprint Corporation followed suit and unveiled their own teaser for the product in their website.

Just like the first two network carriers, Sprint shows the same teaser image of an all-metal Samsung Galaxy S6 in its pre-registration page. But instead of the magenta-colored image of T-Mobile and AT&T's blue-lighted device, Sprint highlights the upcoming product using its signature yellow hue.

The teaser image posted by the network service providers proves the earlier rumors that the next flagship phone from the South Korean mobile phone and consumer electronics manufacturer will let go of its usual plastic back packaging to make way for an aluminum casing.

Also, the image shows that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature a curved screen wherein the glass display of the device extends up to the sides of the smartphone. However, the picture does not show if the curved display reaches both of its sides.

Other rumored specs for the soon-to-be released Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone include a 5.3-inch 4K AMOLED display. It will also allegedly come with either 64-bit Exynos 7420 or Snapdragon 810 processor, depending on the market where it will be sold. As for the camera, Samsung Mobile reportedly prepared a 20-megapixel rear-facing primary camera, while its secondary camera that is meant for video calling and selfie shots is a 5-megapixel front snapper. The new device also supports wireless charging.

Samsung is expected to officially unveil the new Galaxy S6 during the company's scheduled press conference on March 1, a day before the Mobile World Congress officially commences. The device will reportedly be released in most international markets shortly after that.
