Another superhero game will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 in the near future. Developed by Insomniac games "Spiderman" is a superhero romp that follows the adventure of the titular hero. Players will be shoved into the shoes of unassuming Peter Parker as he lives his double life and takes on the title of Spiderman to protect his city and eventually save the day.

The game is slated for a Sept. 28 release, and is set eight years after Peter Parker took on the title of Spiderman. An open-world adventure set in the city of New York, players will alternate between exploration and fighting crimes. Beating up bad guys as Spiderman is not all the game has to offer. Players will have to play as Peter Parker as he navigates through New York City and life as a super powered young man. Aside from that, players will also be able to play as Mary Jane when the game demands.

Those who want to learn more about the game can visit the official PlayStation page.

The official summary on the PlayStation page reads: "Starring one of the world's most iconic Super Heroes, Marvel's Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. From traversing with parkour and unique environmental interactions, to new combat and blockbuster action, it is Spider-Man unlike any you have played before. Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel have teamed up to create a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man adventure."

The summary then went on to explain that this would be a different version of spider man, a more experienced Peter Parker who is well-versed at fighting crime. However, despite his experience, Peter has grown tired and has been struggling to balance his crime-fighting duties with his personal life.

The game will feature an original story, alongside action-packed gameplay in an open world environment.
