Sony Xperia Z4 vs LG G4 comparison: Which rumored upcoming flagship phone is better?

In just a few days, 2014 will say goodbye permanently to pave the way for the coming of 2015. As the new year starts, new devices from the leading mobile phone manufacturers are expected to come out soon.

As early as now, rumors about the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 has been going around online. The new flagship product from the Tokyo-based company is expected to come out with tons of improvements from its predecessor. The smartphone will reportedly come with a 5.2-inch full-HD display with glass and water-proof aluminum housing, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, as well as a 20-megapixel camera.

The Sony Xperia Z4 smartphone will run using the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system as soon as it is released, which is expected to be around the first quarter of 2015.

Meanwhile, LG is also planning to release the next-generation of its flagship smartphone. The upcoming device, allegedly called the LG G4, is expected to be out in the market by mid-2015.

The upcoming flagship phone from the South Korean brand is expected to be released with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip with an impressive 4 GB RAM. It will be slightly bigger compared to the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4, since the LG G4 is said to have a 5.7-inch UHD IPS screen with an astounding 3840 x 2160 resolution. 

The LG G4 will also have a 21-megapixel primary camera that reportedly works well under low light conditions. Its camera will also have the capacity to record 4K video at 60 frames per second. It will is also speculated to come equipped with the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

The specs of both concept phones are still unofficial, and the executives from both companies still have to confirm any of the reported information at the moment.

Smartphone users need to wait a little longer before they finally have a peek of what is in store for the next generation of high-end flagship phones that are set to come out in 2015.
