After Nintendo and Microsoft revealed their plans for the Electronic Entertainment Expo scheduled next month, PlayStation console manufacturer Sony Computer Entertainment also sent out their own invitation for the annual video game trade fair.

The invite for Sony's E3 press conference is very straightforward and contains only the details about when and where the event will take place, which means that they are still keeping their plans for the PlayStation 4 a secret.

Unsurprisingly, several speculations about what the company is planning to reveal during their scheduled press panel next month have surfaced online. One of them is the alleged plan to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the popular gaming console.

There are also reports claiming that Sony will start shedding more light on the soon-to-be released PlayStation 4-exclusive lineup. Some of the speculated are considered AAA level games, such as the "No Man's Sky" action adventure game from Hello Games, as well as LittleBigPlanet's platform video game "Tearaway," which will make its console debut after having a lackluster run on PlayStation Vita.

Sony seems to have big plans for "No Man's Sky." In an interview with MCV, PlayStation U.K. executive Fergal Gara said that the soon-to-be released indie game has a lot of potential.

"No Man's Sky has been treated as if it was from one of our internal studios," Gara shared. "We have been working very closely with the developers and bringing it into our release programme as if we had made it. We are not going to treat it any differently and we are going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it. If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release; it is not a self-published small indie title on the platform."

Sony's press conference at the upcoming E3 2015 is scheduled on Monday, June 15, at the LA Memorial Sports Arena.
