An explosive episode 9 has been prepared for the fans of "Sons of Anarchy," wherein Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) club will have to face an internal conflict. Gemma's (Katey Sagal) fate will be discussed, and one or more well-loved characters will die.
In the ninth episode of SoA season 7 titled "What a Piece of Work is Man," Jax and the rest of the gang will have to deal with their problems while looking for Bobby (Mark Boone Junior) who had been kidnapped, tortured and mutilated by the boys of August Marks (Billy Brown).
Meanwhile, Gemma will allegedly have some very important scenes in the upcoming episode, particularly the one where she will threaten to shoot Sheriff Jarry (Annabeth Gish) in the throat. Also, Gemma will still find time to give out an advice to Rat (Niko Nicotera) about old women.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sagal shared her respect for her character Gemma despite all of her serious shortcomings.
"Even though there's all this major drama in her life—you know, the secret that just keeps on giving—it's interesting to see that she's also who she is," the actress stated. "She's that person that does have that kind of advice, that is somewhat wise in her matriarch position. That's the writers' good storytelling: You don't have everybody one note. They are three-dimensional characters."
But the biggest revelation in episode 9 could be the death of one important character in the highly popular crime/tragedy drama. Most speculations are pointing out to Bobby or Juice (Theo Rossi), who are the most likely characters who will be killed off before the series finale.
With one of his eyes crushed and five of his fingers mutilated in the past episodes, Bobby might not last long and succumb to his death before the gang rescues him from the hands of Marks. Yet some fans believe that series creator Kurt Sutter would not go through all the pains of seeing Bobby suffer just to die yet, so it might be possible that he'd survive through episode 9.
Juice, meanwhile, still holds Gemma's secret, which may also be the reason why he will not be the one to pass away in the upcoming episode.
The episode 9 of the seventh and last season of "Sons of Anarchy" will be aired on Nov. 4 on FX. If you miss tonight's episode, be sure to watch it online via live stream on FX.
