An ancient knife spreads fear in the third episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 3.

In the promo trailer for the upcoming episode titled "Blood and Fear," Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) releases an ancient knife from her box while both Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) deal with another enemy.

The old artifact can allegedly mess with the mind of anyone who comes in contact with it, making them dangerous murderers. Pandora seems pleased with her latest evil antics in town, based on her partying nonstop partying. Then a brief flashback shows someone from the past, which means that the ancient knife might have an evil root to it.

Aside from Pandora, the third season of "Sleepy Hollow" will also have other villains that Ichabod and Abbie have to face.

One of them is the character named Bloody Mary, one of Pandora's warriors who can only appear and attack from her special cracked mirror whenever her name is mentioned thrice. Then there is Krampus, the Christmas demon who looks like a half-human half-goat known for punishing bad people by flogging them before eating them inside his evil home.

Dracula will also make an appearance in the upcoming episodes this season. This time, the legendary vampire will turn other people into blood suckers just like him by sipping their blood.

While the actors who will portray the roles of villains are still unannounced, the other villain named Hell is already revealed to be portrayed by "Arrow" star Caity Lotz. Hell is a Norse goddess who has evil plans this season.

Meanwhile, the stars of "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 recently attended the 2015 New York Comic Con with executive producer Raven Metzner to talk about what fans should look forward to this season, including the highly anticipated crossover episode with "Bones."

"While [Ichabod and Brennan] both are sort of detectives, their worlds are so different," Metzner teased regarding the upcoming Oct. 29 episode titled "Dead Men Tell No Tales" during the NYCC panel posted on the Entertainment Weekly. "We had to create a case that could stretch across the actual real world and also one that happens in the supernatural world."

"Sleepy Hollow" season 3 airs Thursdays on FOX.
