New contents are coming out for "The Sims 4" this week.
Game developer Maxis recently released an announcement in their official website, saying that a new world will be added to "The Sims 4" game on Thursday. According to the post, "The World of Newcrest" will be coming to the game, and all those who own the latest "The Sims" title will be able to immediately start building in the new world as soon as the update goes live this week.
Newcrest was created a clean slate to provide more rooms for expansion. It contains three brand-new neighborhoods consisting of five empty lots each. Players will be given the option of downloading homes from the game's Gallery or constructing their own to put whatever they want in their property, such as houses, clubs, parks, bars, and pools.

The update could be a result of gamers' demand to get more spaces in the game so that they can make new Sims. It could also be the game developer's way of winning back players since the title received a number of negative feedbacks when it decided to release the game without the usual toddlers and pools content.
"The Sims 4" was first released in September 2014 as the fourth installment in the life simulation video game series published by Electronic Arts. Just like its predecessor, "The Sims 3," players can create a character using different personalities. It can also do other tasks while doing a particular task, as well as allowing players to choose a moodlet to change the gameplay. "The Sims 4" also has several new social features, including importing the Sims and property creations of other people in their game.
"The World of Newcrest" free update on "The Sims 4" will be available for download on June 11.
