The British Broadcasting Corporation's
(BBC) "Sherlock" adds four awards to its ever-growing list of recognitions.

The BBC detective drama scooped four gongs from the recently concluded Creative Arts Emmys, including recognitions for picture editing, sound editing, cinematography, and music composition.

Lead stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were also recognized for their astounding performances during the final episode of the show's third season, titled "The Last Vow."

The show joined other widely-popular TV series such as "Game of Thrones" and "True Detective" in earning four gongs during the star-studded event.

Still, the producers of the show could not comment when asked about the official release date of its fourth season.

According to reports, Sherlock season four will have a tentative timeline since the production must adhere to the busy schedule of its two main actors.

But fans need not worry. Sherlock producer Sue Vertue announced that the team is doing their job to please the avid viewers of the show. She and her husband, co-producer Steven Moffat, vowed to address the schedule problems.

"We'll get them (the episodes) made as quickly as we can," Vertue said.

Cumberbatch is reportedly busy working on two movie projects, titled "Black Mass" and "Blood Mountain." On the other hand, Freeman's hands are full with his obligations to the new "Hobbit" film.

Sherlock Season four will feature the usual three serialized episodes as well as one-episode special, according to an announcement made by BBC. Producers reportedly dismissed an earlier rumor saying that they will present a stand-alone TV movie or a one-off special episode before season four airs.

In July, co-creator Mark Gatiss -- who also plays the role of Sherlock's older brother Mycroft Holmes --  tweeted, "Series Four! At last! It's always special to return to Sherlock but this time it's even more special as we're doing... a Special! Not only THAT, we'll then be shooting three more episodes which will take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before. The whole Sherlock team is terrifically excited to return for four new adventures. The Game is on - again!"

Until then, fans have to wait until the schedule of Sherlock season four is announced.
